PKR deputy president Mohamed Azmin Ali said he was confident Pakatan Rakyat could come to a consensus on the issue of local council elections. – The Malaysian Insider pic by Seth Akmal, January 26, 2015.An internal solution must be found to resolve the ongoing spat between DAP and PAS over the implementation of local council elections, Mohamed Azmin Ali said today.The PKR deputy president said to end the bickering, all three parties within Pakatan Rakyat (PR) must sit down and decide what to make of the issue through consensus."At the state level, we have held discussions on this, and I am sure it will continue, and all three parties must sit together at one table."We will solve this within PR and I am sure it will be discussed in the presidential council."PR's strength is that we work based on consensus and not on an individual basis," Azmin who is also Selangor menteri besar told reporters in Shah Alam.He was asked to comment on PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang who drew criticism after reportedly saying last Friday that local council elections could lead to a widening racial gap and a repeat of the May 13, 1969 racial riots. – January 26, 2015.MORE TO COME
